The "Wisdom Eye" Takes Up Position on the Quality Control Front Line - Production Efficiency of the T2 Section of Bijie South Ring Road Project Significantly Enhanced.
On November 27th, the steel processing workshop of the LiBei South Ring T2 section, which was constructed by the Road and Bridge Group of Guizhou Transportation Investment Group, officially introduced a vertical flash measurement instrument equipped with machine vision technology. This intelligent device, known as the "Eye of Wisdom", precisely covers the core quality inspection processes of steel sawing, threading, and grinding. It successfully transformed the traditional steel inspection from the manual mode relying on experience to the intelligent mode based on data, injecting new impetus into the quality control of engineering projects.
Entering the steel processing workshop, the intelligent production scene is truly impressive: the steel saw-cutting, threading, grinding production line operates at a constant speed. The processed steel components are sequentially sent into the vertical flash testing instrument detection chamber. Without the need for manual precise positioning, the equipment's 7 million-pixel industrial camera and dual telecentric lenses immediately start working. Within 1 second, the component imaging is completed, and the entire process detection can be finished within 18 seconds. The saw-cut length, threading pitch, and end face flatness, etc., as key parameters, are presented in real time on the computer screen. The detection accuracy of this equipment can reach 3 micrometers, and it can clearly capture the subtle flaws of the threaded screw. This completely solves the pain points of "visual fatigue and missed detection" and "measurement error" in manual detection, achieving "completion of processing means completion of detection". At the same time, after the detection is completed, the equipment can automatically generate an Excel report containing data such as size deviations and process capability indices, providing precise digital support for quality control management.
The introduction of the vertical flash testing instrument is an important step taken by the T2 project of the South Ring Road in Bijie to promote the deep integration of intelligent equipment and construction production. It not only significantly improves the quality stability of the steel bar components, but also through the "cost reduction and efficiency increase" in the detection process, releases more production capacity for subsequent installation and process connection, and significantly saves labor costs.
